Originally from Tallahassee, FL Elaina moved to the Jacksonville area about 2 years ago to work as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. In Tallahassee, Elaina attended Florida State University for both her undergraduate and graduate studies (go noles!!). In her work, Elaina most enjoys getting to learn and collaborate with the families she serves to problem solve as a team. During her free time, Elaina enjoys biking outside or walking on the beach with her family and church community.

Callie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Professional Education from University of North Florida. Post graduating, continuing her passion to work in special education, she perused an interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder and Applied Behavior Analysis. Callie has completed additional ABA coursework and supervised fieldwork earning credentials allowing her to support other therapists with their clients and families in clinical and in-home ABA services. In her years in the ABA field, Callie had the opportunity to train RBT’s in Maryland and Washington DC area to provide ABA services to diverse children of all ages and backgrounds. She currently is in pursuit of obtaining her Master’s in ABA.  Callie is a Florida native, raised in Gainesville, and moved to Jacksonville in 2009. Callie is an avid Florida Gator fan and in her spare time she enjoys traveling, DIY projects and fishing. 

William Goodman

William moved to the Gainesville area in 2020 to attend the University of Florida. There he completed his undergraduate coursework graduating with a B.S. in psychology. As the sibling of a brother diagnosed with Autism, William has spent the last decade volunteering and working to provide compassionate treatment and care to the special needs community. Whether volunteering as a P.E. coach for youths on the spectrum, or working clinically as an RBT, William brings an energetic approach to his positions. After graduation, he moved to Jacksonville to continue to develop his professional career in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. Outside of work William has a plethora of hobbies including running, reading, playing with his two dogs, and Mexican cuisine. William plans on obtaining his BCBA and doctorate in Applied Behavior Analysis with the hopes to someday research language development in special needs populations.

Colleen Fitzpatrick is a Jacksonville native who attended University of Florida for her undergraduate degree in Psychology, and Florida Institute of Technology for her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. She started in the field in her senior year at UF when she took a lab class where she trained pigeons for an experiment on behavioral momentum. She continued her work as a behavioral technician in Jacksonville, FL after graduation in 2011, working with young children with developmental disabilities who presented with severe challenging behaviors.  She found her passion teaching language and social skills to a variety of learners spanning ages 18 months to 22 years, a population she served as a BCaBA for eight years. In May of 2020, Colleen became a BCBA. She is enjoying her new role collaborating with teachers, parents, and new therapists in the field! In her free time, Colleen loves spending time with her husband, daughter, and three chickens.

For over 7 years Rachel Hoover has been a part of Behavioral Solutions Consulting as a Behavior Analyst.  She is driven by her passion in producing meaningful outcomes to families and enriching her co-workers with knowledge and best practices.  Rachel received her master’s degree in Special Education from the University of New Orleans and her post graduate certification in Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas.  Rachel now resides in Oahu, Hawaii but she is still committed to providing support and service to BSC employees and the families they serve.

Nina Deese, BCBA

Nina Deese, BCBA

Nina is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with more than 10 years of experience providing behavior analytic services to a variety of populations.  She received her graduate training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) at Auburn University, under the supervision and mentorship or Drs. Jim Carr and Linda LeBlanc.  Nina has designed and presented a series of workshops and trainings on toileting, parent training, supervision of BCBA-candidates, and many other topics pertaining to the field.  She has been a consultant to various school districts and families and also has experience working in residential and educational settings across multiple states.  Nina has served as an adjunct faculty member at The Florida State University for over 5 years.  She is dedicated to serving the field and the profession and is passionate about training and mentoring new BCBAs.  She serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB) and continues to devote her time volunteering for Autism Speaks and other local agencies in her area.

Lissi Bradfield has been with BSC since 2019. She began as an RBT and after completing the coursework requirements for BACB credentials through Florida Institute of Technology, she proudly became a BCBA in 2020. Originally from Massachusetts, Lissi has lived in NE Florida with her husband and three children since 2003. She graduated from Emerson College in Boston, MA and received her Master’s in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Washington in Seattle. Prior to working at BSC, Lissi was an educator and behavior specialist in St. Johns County School District. Outside of work, Lissi enjoys spending time with her family, reading, gardening, and traveling.

Emily Czepiel was raised in New York and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University. Her true passion for working with children with ASD came from her experience as a live-in nanny for a family affected by autism. Emily went on to earn her board certification in Behavior Analysis from Florida Institute of Technology in 2007. She has held several positions across several states, working in various settings with all ages. Emily began working for Behavior Solutions Consulting in 2014 and continues to enjoy the unique and rewarding experiences that come with this field.

Jessica Stegeman is from Bethpage, New York. She attended Nassau Community College where she received her Associates degree.  Before moving to Florida in 2015 Jessica was a head teacher for a local daycare center. She started her journey in Florida working as a special needs nanny before becoming a Registered Behavioral Technician.  After receiving her certification, she joined the Behavioral Solutions Consulting team in March of 2018.  Jessica enjoys working in homes, schools and the community with her clients. She works with a wide range of amazing individuals of various ages and treatment needs. Jessica strives to enhance each client’s life while maintaining professionalism at all times.  She plans to further her education and advance in the world of ABA therapy.

Cherish Twigg is a native of Florida and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Prior to becoming a BCBA she was certified in ABA in the state of Florida, then as a BCaBA, and finally as a BCBA in 2005. She has been working in the field of autism and ABA for over 25 years. During this time Cherish has traveled across the US, as well as internationally, providing training and consultation to hundreds of families and agencies.  She specializes in the area of Verbal Behavior, specifically on keeping her clients motivated and engaged as they learn to communicate. When she is not working, Cherish enjoys spending time with her family on the water and watching her son race motocross.

Julie was born and raised in the Chicago area.  She attended the University of Iowa and earned her bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing.  After graduation, she worked at a Fortune 500 company in various accounting and finance positions.  After working in corporate America for ten years, she left to help high school students and their families navigate the college scholarship and financial aid process.  After having her kids, (4 kids in 4 years), she took time off to raise her family and volunteer in their schools. She feels fortunate to be able to use her skills to support Dr. Lucker-Greene and her amazing team.  In her free time, Julie enjoys traveling with her husband Mark, playing tennis, and cheering for the Hawkeyes and the Cubs.

Jennie is from the Lake City area of North Florida.  She was born and raised in the same area, where she also has been teaching in the Columbia County Schools for the past 32 years.  Jennie began her career teaching PreK students with disabilities. She has worked closely with Dr. Lucker-Greene in the classroom and learned how to effectively implement the ABA in the classroom setting .  Years later she began working for Behavioral Solutions as an RBT serving students and families in the Columbia County area.  Her focus with the company is to serve students and families in the home setting.  Jennie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mental retardation K – 12, Master’s Degree in Elementary Education, a Prek Handicapped endorsement, Certification as an RBT, and certified in Educational Leadership. Jennie is married with 3 adult children. Outside of work, she enjoys being with her family and water activities.

Rachael Ferro was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA.  She received a Bachelor’s Degree from Holy Family University in Elementary Education (K-6) and Exceptional Student Education (K-12).  After graduating from college, she moved to Florida to begin her career as a special education teacher. She taught special education for nine years before becoming a behavior coach. As a coach, she helps develop and implement behavior plans with students.  Six years ago Rachael received her certification as a Registered Behavior Technician.  She began working part time for BSC two years ago. Rachael really enjoys working with her clients and seeing their progress.  During her free time, she enjoys reading and being outdoors.

Nick is from Long Island, NY and has a background in social work and case management. Before obtaining his RBT he worked as a chronic health care coordinator serving clients with chronic illnesses.  Nicholas also served as an adult protective investigator for the Dept. of Children & Families and worked closely with the Agency for People with Disabilities & Agency for Healthcare Administration. His segue into applied behavior analysis started when he was a youth case manager within the juvenile justice system. As the leader of the treatment team process, he conducted youth needs assessments, developed performance plans, and coordinated delivery of treatment plan services.  Nick obtained his B.A. in Health & Human Services from University at Buffalo and will be finished with his M.A. in Exceptional Student Education from the University of West Florida in August 2021. In his free time, he loves to fish and be active. Nicholas is most passionate about helping people both young and old reach their full potential through the use of behavior analysis.

Tyler Charles, originally from Whitesboro, NY, is a registered behavior technician with Behavioral Solutions Consulting, as well as the coordinator for a program at the University of North Florida supporting matriculating UNF students on the autism spectrum. Tyler graduated from UNF with a B.A. in Psychology in 2017 and graduated from UNF with his Master’s in Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2020. Tyler’s primary focus area is in the postsecondary setting working with individuals on the autism spectrum, though he has had a diverse range of experiences working with individuals of varying disabilities in the postsecondary setting. Tyler is working toward attaining his BCBA certification, followed by pursuing a doctorate in Educational Leadership. Tyler is a firm believer in providing assistance to individuals belonging to underrepresented populations and assisting them in finding a voice for themselves and their needs.

Breanna Henes (Bre) is a Board Certified Assistant Behavioral Analyst for Behavioral Solutions Consulting. In February 2021, she transitioned from a clinical therapy environment to in-home and school therapy environment. The transition has been a wonderful change, showing growth everyday learning from her fellow colleagues. After obtaining her Bachelors of Science degree, with an emphasis in Behavior Analysis, from Northern Michigan University, she moved to Florida to pursue her career in ABA. Every day is a rewarding day within the behavior analysis field and Bre wouldn’t want to be anywhere else as she feels this is her passion!

Sandra Kral is from Colombia South-America. She has a background in Speech Language Pathologist and Audiology. She has over 20th years of experience working with a wide range of populations and disorders. Before becoming an RBT she worked as an ESE Teacher (Exceptional Students Education) in the Autistic Department with the Duval County Public Schools. She is passionate about teaching social/life skills and helping students achieve their goals. In her leisure time she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

One of the best assets a behavior consulting practice can have is a member of their team who is also the parent of a child with disabilities.  Julie’s daughter has been receiving ABA therapy for over 10 years and she definitely understands both sides of coin. As a lifelong resident of St Johns County, Florida she is very proud of her deep family roots in our area that date all the way back to the 1700s. She co-authored a book with her father about his incredible life here on the First Coast of Florida.  Julie has worked with BSC for over 6 years in an administrative role and is now consulting. Julie and her husband, Mack have 3 children and 1 grandson.  They enjoy family time on their boat, lots of beach time and countless dance parties with Maya!

Born and raised in Jacksonville, FL., Katherine Horrell attended Florida State University for both her undergraduate and graduate degree, receiving her Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis and becoming a BCBA in 2015. She has experience working with a wide range of ages, diagnoses, and populations. Katherine particularly enjoys in-home services as it allows the opportunity to work on functional goals that can shape the way we live every day. Some of her career accomplishments include opening, running, and building a clinic in Northern Colorado and developing a supervision curriculum for those seeking certification. Katherine loves being a BCBA and influencing the lives of not only those she serves but also those that she supervises.  Outside of work she and her husband have a very active lifestyle where they enjoy hiking, traveling, and being on the water.
